What Color Services Should I Book?
Color Retouch vs. Highlighting Technique?
A color retouch service is when hair color is applied all over the scalp and regrowth area, to cover unwanted grey hair or to change the color of your hair without using a lightener. Highlights are a lightening technique designed to be placed in foils throughout the hair to lighten strands of hair.
Highlights vs. Balayage?
Partial highlights primarily focus on the front quadrant of the head focusing on the front hairline around the face, part, and crown of the head. Full highlights are placed all around the head from the front hairline all the way to the bottom nape of the hairline. Full foils are best for clients who wear their hair up a lot and want to see lightness throughout their hair.
Balayage is a free-hand painting technique that creates peaks and valleys of lightness throughout the hair. Balayage is a customized lightening service per the client’s needs and desires for lightness or darkness throughout their hair. The technique is designed for longevity between appointments because the free-hand painting does not need to go right up to the root/scalp of the hair. Painting can start as high or low as the client desires.
Why We Ask For Cards on File?
All clients to the salon are asked to put a card on file. Why do we ask a client for this? The simple answer is two fold. Since the pandemic of Covid, we have tried to create a safe space with as little touch points as possible. By storing your card on file in an encrypted PCI Compliant off site location we are able to run your card for services and products without you having to physically hand it to us. We do not run cards without the clients consent, nor can we see the cards encryption. The second is, without a card on file our system will not allow us to schedule appointments. It is required.
Do I Need A Consultation?
Consultations are carved into all appointments. We do our best to listen and achieve all clients’ needs for hair services. We do not recommend a consultation prior to your service; however, we can accommodate you if you would like to come in prior to your service per request. (15-minute time slot).
Where Do I Park?
With the salon now in a studio space within my home in my neighborhood, all clients are to park in my driveway. PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON THE STREET. Please pull all the way up my driveway to my 3-car garage, and park in front of one of the 3 bays. You may enter through the designated studio entrance with the paver walkway and covered porch. Please DO NOT enter through my front farmer’s porch and front door of my home I will not know you are at your scheduled appointment. Please enter through the designated entrance for studio space. What Is Your Policy On Tips?
Gratuity is left to the client’s discretion and is very much appreciated. Please Note: Gratuities are only accepted in cash. Most guests choose to tip 20% of their service total.
Cancellations | Missed Appointments
Appointment reminders are sent via email, text, or phone call in anticipation of your appointment. If you cannot make your appointment and notify us less than 48 hours before your scheduled appointment there’s a fee (the cost of your service to be paid by card) for late/last minute cancellations or no-shows. Not canceling/rescheduling in advance or not showing up at all does not allow us to fill the space we had specifically for you. It also does not give us the opportunity to fill the space of time with a client that has been anxiously waiting to get in from the wait list. We ask that you notify us as soon as a conflict may arise.

You may also make adjustments on your profile that you created on our website booking page. Once you have logged into your account you can cancel or modify your appointment up to three (3) days prior to your scheduled appointment date and time. Anything less than 3 days, the website will not allow you to make any changes.
